At Floorgard, flooring is more than just a trade. It’s a family tradition. Brendan grew up watching his dad transform bare concrete into beautiful, long lasting floors, and in 2000, the business officially took shape on the Central Coast. Years later, Brendan was lucky enough to take the reins from his father—his mentor, business partner, and mate. Brendan continues the legacy they built together.
From the start, our focus has been simple: work hard, use the best products, and treat every customer like a neighbour. Over the decades, we’ve earned a trusted reputation across New South Wales and into Queensland for delivering epoxy floors that not only look great but stand up to real life. Owner & Epoxy Specialist
Brendan McCarthy is a second generation flooring expert who grew up in the trade and proudly continues the family legacy at Floorgard. With years of hands on experience and a passion for craftsmanship, he has built a reputation for delivering epoxy floors that not only look great but go the distance. Leading the Floorgard team, Brendan is committed to excellence, hard work, and genuine customer care on every project.
Outside of work, Brendan is a proud husband and father to Billy and Layla. He’s actively involved in his local community by volunteering alongside Billy in Surf Life Saving. Brendan can often be found cheering from the sidelines as Layla takes the field in soccer. His dedication to family, community, and quality service is at the heart of everything Floorgard stands for.
